Celebrating VE Day 🇬🇧

What an amazing day! 🇬🇧

We celebrated VE Day by dressing in red, white and blue. The children started the day with learning about what VE Day is. Then in our groups throughout the day we made homemade lemonade, planted poppy seeds, learned how to play games from a long time ago and made jam butties. Mrs Bancroft also taught us a 1940s style dance which we performed at the end of the day. We finished the day by eating our jam butties and drinking our homemade lemonade.
